Felo pays tribute to Marco Simoncelli: the FW03 SIC58 Limited Edition electric scooter debuts at EICMA [PHOTO]

At EICMA 2023 FELO, an innovative brand that produces electric motorbikes, pays homage to the late motorcycling champion Marco Simoncelli dedicating a special limited edition scooter to him.

The celebratory vehicle, which takes the name of Felo FW03 SIC58 Limited Edition, was premiered at the Milanese event in the presence of the late pilot's father, Paolo Simoncelli, who proudly commented: “I am really happy and excited to start this collaboration with Felo, they have created a very high quality product and the creation of the SIC58 limited series fully represents the spirit and joy that this name brings with it. Fans and enthusiasts all over the world will have a new object of desire to add to their wishlist, we hope to surprise them."

Livery with colors that refer to Sic, only 580 examples

Created on the basis of Felo's FW03 Type2, the limited edition dedicated to the Sic stands out for a livery designed to make the connection with Marco Simoncelli immediately recognisable: the fluorescent yellow, black, white and red recall the colors of his motorbikes and his racing suits. Two parallel red stripes add a distinctive touch, while the leopard spots, symbol of speed and agility, represent another element that is part of Sic's imagery. The model will be produced in a limited edition of 580 pieces and is offered to the public at a price of 5.990 €, including a 5-year battery warranty.

The Felo range

In addition to the electric scooter dedicated to Marco Simoncelli, Felo also brings the five models which make up the range marketed in Italy. The FW03 STD, which offers 120 km of autonomy and 80 km/h of maximum speed, available at the price of €5.390. The FW03 Type 2, a version that offers the same performance as the standard version, but with a type 2 socket for fast charging and integrated battery charger, priced at €5.590. Model FW06, a vehicle that offers 140 km of autonomy and 110 km/h top speed, on sale for €6.490. The FW05 with engine with maximum peak of 5 kW and maximum speed of 80 km/h, available at the price of €4.990. To complete the range there is FW07, the sportiest model with a maximum speed of 125 km/h, 12 kW of power at its peak and a range of 140 km/h, which is priced at €6.890.
