FB Mondial Flat Track 125: patent of the historic brand

Through a press release, the design property of the specimen is underlined “Flat Track 125” bound to FB World. A note from Pelpi International, holder of the historic brand, after news regarding the filing of a patent with images that can be linked to this project.

The news

The note highlights what was indicated by Cesare Galli, CEO of Pelpi International: since the relaunch of the brand in 2015, the models produced exclusively by the brand FB World are "designed and engineered in Italy from the team Research and Development di Pelpi International and relative patents and intellectual properties they belong exclusively to the company".
In the press release, recalling last year's EICMA event, it is also noted how “the “Flat Track 125” model is an exclusive FB Mondial project introduced to the international audience in November 2019.” The model was then marketed in the spring of 2020, despite considering the delays linked to the current global health situation, updated as Model Year 2021 with an announcement in July and its arrival on the sales network last September.

The document released states: “The Chinese production partner, taking advantage of the complications and restrictions on free personal movement due to the aforementioned global health situation, filed a patent with the national intellectual property management body in July, based on technical drawings by FB Mondial, to which it had access for its production activities relating to the "Flat Track 125" model.
At present, the supplier has admitted the error and has started the operations necessary for the transfer of ownership of the patent to FB Mondial, which will regularly regain possession of its intellectual property, within the technical deadlines established by the Chinese national administration."
Therefore the named specimen “Flat Track 125”, is added again “as presented on the occasions mentioned above and represented by the technical drawings in question, it will be produced globally exclusively under the FB Mondial brand”, as indicated on the occasion.
