Phase 2: letter to the Government from the presidents of IMF and Confindustria ANCMA

Il President of the Italian Motorcycle Federation (IMF) John Copioli and Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle Motorcycle Accessories) Paul Magri they wrote a letter to Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and to the holders of the ministries of Transportation e Sport, From Micheli e Spadafora. A request for attention from the Government for the entire world of two wheels, in this period conditioned by the recent lockdown.

The institutional realities, together, represent the supply and demand of two-wheel enthusiasts in Italy. On the one hand, the sporting movement linked to the two-wheel sector and more 110 thousand members structured in 1740 Motorcycle Club; while on the other the specific industrial sector operating in the country, which develops employment for more than one industry 90mila people. Recently the President of Confindustria ANCMA after the latest data on the drastic drop in market in April, linked to the recent lockdown, had made a further appeal drawing attention to the topic and the need for immediate aid to support the sector.
Under discussion, among the various topics, the request for purchase incentives stands out, but there are also proposals for tax exemptions for protective clothing and further clarity regarding the provisions on the use of motorbikes both in the motorbike touring sector and in the field sporty.
