Various new features also on the Caballero and E-Mobility range

Among the innovations introduced by Fantic Engine on the occasion of EICMA, the International Two Wheel Exhibition, of particular note are: the Fantic XEF 450 Rally and concept of a first electric scooter. But there are several innovations also linked to the different product ranges, from the well-known Caballero range to the Off-Road and Racing models, therefore the e-Bike and urban e-Mobility sectors.

Fantic XEF 450 Rally

One of the notable innovations is the Fantic XEF 450 Rally, a proposal that broadens the choice in the Racing overview signed by Fantic. The example will debut in competition at the next Dakar 2022, entrusted to the expert Franco Picco. According to what has been reported, the Italian pilot, who collaborated with the Team Fantic test, provided valuable indications for the development of the model.
The chassis is equipped with specific solutions designed for high-speed off-road riding with specifically calibrated Kayaba suspensions, as well as a 300 mm diameter front brake.
The bike will be available from the end of next summer and there is also a Factory kit with numerous special parts.
A growth with a frame and engine derived from its Enduro sister, the Fantic XEF 450 4T, associated with a completely new character. The superstructures and the large 30-litre tank are developed to combine ergonomics and autonomy. Furthermore, there is equipment necessary for navigation, specifically plexiglass dome and instrument holder.

E-scooter concept

The other interesting news is linked to the sustainable mobility segment. A concept of the first Fantic electric scooter introduced. An example designed and built in Veneto and Emilia, equipped with an E-Power engine and inverter, a reality born from the collaboration between Dellorto and Energica.
Un E-Scooter innovative, designed to be managed via smartphone with a dedicated App and customizable with various accessories, from the high windshield, through a leg cover, to the rear top case.
The 3 kW electric propulsion part can be mapped with three configurations. Together with the concept at the L1 category fair, there is also a project in the L3 version, equivalent to the 50 cc and 125 cc endothermic versions. A model equipped with a 2.200 Wh lithium battery which can be implemented with another charging unit, reaching a capacity of 4.400 Wh, for an estimated autonomy of more than 100 km.
The "power unit" is placed on a Fantic chassis characterized by a die-cast aluminum trellis frame and suspensions with 100 mm action at the front and 85 mm at the rear, offering comfort, lightness and easy handling. Also noteworthy is a braking system with a 220 mm front disc and a 180 mm rear disc with integral braking and high wheels whose rims are 16 inches, which fit 90/80 tires at the front and 100/80 at the rear.
The vehicle will be produced in Italy and assembled at the Motori Minarelli factories in Bologna. A development with particular attention to eco-sustainability right from the production phases, adopting construction techniques with low environmental impact.

Men

Speaking of the Caballero range, the two-tone model are introduced Caballero 500 Explorer designed for lovers of exploration and the compact Caballero Rally 125 with a character that recalls the 500.
Like the Rally version, the Caballero 500 Explorer features the single-cylinder 450 4T Euro 5, with electric start and 6-speed gearbox, but differs from the aforementioned two-tone white-bronze appearance as well as having accessories designed for exploratory tourism. There is a storage bag on the tank, a rear luggage rack and the side bag with relative frame.
Technically it features suspension with a 43 mm fork adjustable in compression and preload, the same goes for the mono solution at the rear; furthermore, the new protective tubular side bars are also highlighted as protective elements for the headlight, radiator and engine and Michelin Anakee Wild knobby tires for off-roading.

Moving on to the Caballero Rally 125, it is a compact and functional vehicle for tackling dirt roads and rough paths considering various aspects such as a handlebar with crossbar, various technical aspects derived from the off-road sector, a high mudguard and knobby wheels. A model proposed in the color with sand tank and matt black plastics.
There are also new colors for the Caballero Scrambler, a "dark" for the 125 and "yellow" for the 500, as well as accessories for the entire Caballero range, ranging from interchangeable tank covers in nine color variants , to special exhausts by Arrow.

Fantic Racing

An overview that has grown further with the 4-stroke drive units in the Enduro and Motocross sectors, in addition to the 2T progenitor examples of the NewRacingEra introduced at EICMA in 2018. Four Cross models have already been previewed: Fantic XX 125 2T; Fantic XX 250 2T; Fantic XXF 250 4T e Fantic XXF 450 4T. Three Enduro models: Fantic XE 125 2T; Fantic XEF 250 4T e Fantic XEF 450 4T.

Fantic Offroad Enduro and Motard

A family of Euro 5 models ranging from 50 cc with 50 e XM50 two-stroke up to 4T with XEF125 e 125, offered in the Competition performance versions. For 2022 the full LED front headlight is introduced. Also included in the Fantic Off Road offer XEF 250 Trail designed to facilitate the approach to Enduro tracks.

E-bike

In this regard, the business unit has proposed advanced solutions, associated with research and development. A range equipped with new colors presents interesting examples such as the XEF1.9 characterized by a high excursion while preserving the Enduro characteristics, in addition to the lightest example in the panorama: the XTF 1.5 Carbon Factory.

E-Mobility

Further news also on this front as the new one ISSIMO 45, characterized by peculiar solutions such as larger section wheels and a low center of gravity. The 45 version offers greater thrust and autonomy. ISSIMO 45 represents the 45 km/h "super pedalec" model, equipped with approved lights and license plate holder, together with a 600W Bafang M250 motor in the urban version with glove compartment. A model alongside the first VERY MUCH, a vehicle with a recognizable design and offered in customizable versions Urban e Fun.
Highly interesting news is the Fantic TX2 which extends the proposal towards urban micro-mobility. An aluminum design with non-slip magnesium handlebars and footrest considering a silicone cover, it also has three riding modes and a TFT display from which to manage various functions.
An electric scooter equipped with a double motor and the total power reaches 500W. There is also a 369 Wh battery for a reported autonomy of 25 km.
