Fantic Caballero E-Cab: how it's made

The Caballero represents the flagship of Fantic production and this electric version joins the 125cc, 250cc and 500cc displacements (in Scrambler and Flat Track trim) already on the market. Like its sisters with a combustion engine, the E-Cab is also characterized by the ease of driving and the originality of its lines. Caballero E-Cab has a new one Single-beam frame in chrome steel which accommodates the permanent magnet AC (PMAC) motor powered with 7,5 kWh battery of capacity. The vehicle, which can be driven with an A1 licence, has a power of 11 kW and a top speed 120 km/h. L'autonomy it is 150 km on an urban cycle, 110 km on a mixed cycle and 90 km on the motorway, maintaining a constant speed of 115 km/h. Caballero E-Cab was built paying attention to the centralization of masses and with the use of quality materials such as carbon and ergal, with the aim of reducing the weight (which stands at 147kg).

Fantic Caballero 500 Rally: how it's made

Internal combustion engine purists will appreciate the new Fantic Caballero 500 Rally, a scrambler in all respects but with a greater vocation towards off-road. Among the characteristics we must necessarily mention the increased travel suspension, which reach 200 mm on the front and rear, the 43 mm upside-down forks are adjustable in both preload and hydraulics, just as the rear shock absorber from 200 mm. Many details have been revised compared to the other Caballeros, such as the off-road handlebar with crossbar and bumper, the fork protectors mounted on the USD forks, the new high front mudguard, the engine guard, the front light cover grille, the front number plate, off-road tyres. road. The Caballero 500 Rally is available in the classic red color and in the new military green. It will be on the market from next spring.

Fantic Issimo: a new concept of electric bike

The latest edition of EICMA also marked the debut of Fantic Issimo, a new pedal-assisted, low-wheel electric vehicle, which the company will also produce in the S-Pedelec version, capable of reaching speeds of up to 45 km/h. Among the features we find an aluminum frame with exposed trellis structure, central motor and 630 Wh lithium ion battery, 20″ wheels and a featherweight (less than 30 kg).

The gearbox integrated into the hub also gives the vehicle great compactness and reliability. The autonomy in the city is close to 120 km. Two versions were presented at EICMA 2018: Issimo Urban, already equipped with a roof rack and additional battery, and Issimo Fun, with a BMX handlebar.
