A myth known as the “Fox”

An astute champion, hence his nickname "the Fox", carlo ubbiali he is a legend of international motorcycling linked to the history of FB Mondial. A fast and decisive gentleman on the tracks.
He retired from competitive activity at just thirty years old, as a champion. Afterwards it remained a “undefeated knight”, now remembered as one of the most talented drivers of all time. A legendary name that brought the Mondial name to the top. “Eat motorbike” was the answer, if asked about his secret. A champion who, once famous, entered cinemas with the lights off so as not to be recognised, as remembered on the occasion.

He won everything that could be conquered then, collecting well nine world titles of which you're in the 125 class e three in the 250. He also won eight Italian laurels, another achievement that he highlighted. A master surpassed, speaking of world successes, only by the legendary Giacomo Agostini and from Spanish Angel grandson. Mike Hailwood e Valentino Rossi, at different times and periods, have equaled his record. The supreme talent of carlo ubbiali it is above all recognizable from the results achieved from 1950 to 1960, always finishing the 125 World Championship in the top three positions.
The first global success was achieved on Mondial. Thanks to the qualities of the "Cinesino", another nickname given to Ubbiali for his eye shape, the brand closed a three-year period of excellent results between 1949 and 1951 thanks to the conquest of the 125 class world championship with Nello Pagani and Bruno Ruffo respectively and indeed Carlo Ubbiali, together with the constructors' titles in the same years. In 1950 and 1952 Ubbiali, again on Mondial, placed second in the race for the title.
Cesare Galli, Piero Boselli and the entire management of the brand FB World they remember the champion by showing their closeness to the Ubbiali family, highlighting the figure of this champion in the history of the Italian manufacturer and beyond. Carlo Ubbiali's last public appearance took place just last year in July for FB Mondial, at the launch of the FB Mondial Sport Classic (the Pagani 1948), at Motosplash in Milan. Occasion in which he recalled some exploits together with other protagonists such as Emiliano Ostorero, Giorgio Pagani (son of Nello Pagani), Aldo Tonelli e Stephen Bonetti, as mentioned.
