THEEvolution Kit by Akrapovic was designed for use on Yamaha YZF-R1 who mount one “Yamaha Racing Kit”, as the system is intended for track use only. The Evolution Kit from the Slovenian brand is made of titanium and will allow a weight reduction of up to 60% (5,8 kg) compared to the standard system, improving handling and acceleration. The finish, however, is a high-tech carbon fiber heat shield designed to blend perfectly with the sporty lines of the YZF-R1. Akrapovič acoustic engineers have also guaranteed the system an unmistakable sound profile, with a roar that matches its look and performance.
