EuroApe 2019: Piaggio Ape protagonist in Pontedera [PHOTO]

THEApe Piaggio, versatile in nature and granitic in substance, becomes the protagonist of the edition 2019 di EuroApe which brings together enthusiasts of the historic vehicle from the company Pontedera. And right in the Tuscan town, where the historic factory is located, a large gathering for enthusiasts is scheduled for the weekend.

The fifty years of Ape 50

Now, with a further refined appearance and covered in new colors along with the classics Arctic White e Western Red, like something new Neptune Blue which refers to the world of navigation, is distinguishable especially at the rear by observing the revised light clusters.
THEApe Classic Van, however, has a more traditional connotation and the name anticipates the strong transport qualities. The manufacturer emphasizes a range of 675 kg, then evaluating a versatile well compartment 1,5 m³. The side panels, designed in material “wrapable”, are designed to accommodate advertising writings or announcements. The threaded inserts in the internal loading area are also practical, functional for accommodating and distributing various objects, according to the indications.

EuroApe 2019

The program of this tenth meeting of the meeting was rich, which came to life precisely in Pontedera in 2008 thanks to'Ape Club of Italy, born in 2006. An event that also has the support of Piaggio Commercial. Excursions to the beauties of the area are also planned from the Ape Village. During the day the Ape Tour visits places such as Lari Castle, instead on Sunday 14th, walking the streets of Pontedera, the group reaches the historic Piaggio factory to admire, exceptionally, the assembly lines Ape 50. Also among the initiatives highlighted BeeSchool to provide safe driving basics to upperclassmen on Ape 50 Cross, therefore also concerts atAuditorium of the Piaggio Museum on Saturday and Sunday evenings, in particular a closing concert of the fonè Music Festival, Duettango on the first day at 21pm, then at 18pm, the Chopin piano and orchestra concerts of the Pontedera Music Festival.
There are also valuable exhibitions and other activities at the Piaggio Museum. A larger and revised place in 2018, visited just last year by more than 70.000 visitors, with a section dedicated to the historic Ape and embellished with historic vehicles such as theApe Calessino of the 1956 or the I will regret it characterized by five wheels including the trailer.
