Europae 2019: the gathering in Pondera to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Ape 50

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April in the town where the historic factory is located Piaggio, ponder, the tenth edition will be staged EuroApe, the largest Ape gathering in Europe. This year's edition will be a special one, in fact it will be the 50th anniversary of the birth of the first Ape 50.

Ape it is the smallest and most generous commercial vehicle in the world, successfully present on the roads since 1969, and the event will be an opportunity to introduce interesting innovations, such as the new Ape Classic Van e Ape Calessino MY 2019, which has a new look while keeping its unmistakable glamorous style intact. The event is organized by Ape Club of Italy with the support of Piaggio Commercial, EuroApe 2019 will have its beating heart inApe Villageand, in Piazza Cavour, open from the morning of Saturday 13th to involve and entertain Ape fans but also enthusiasts and the curious with a rich program of activities that will cover the whole weekend. A colorful "swarm" of over a hundred Apes from all eras is expected over the weekend: it will be possible to admire the rarest historical models alongside the latest generation ones. As always, the many special installations will be the protagonists, Bee Tuning e Bee Proto, the latter, real Ape Racing equipped with racing engines of up to 1000 cc which will enliven the Pontedera Circuit with performances, an area specially set up in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, not far from theApe Village. BeeSchool instead, it will be the driving school dedicated to upper-class students, with theoretical and practical lessons on safe driving on board the Ape 50 Cross. FromApe Village numerous and evocative excursions will also start to discover the surrounding area, in line with the values ​​of Ape, a symbol of friendship and life in the open air. On Saturday 13th the Ape Tour will stop at the Lari Castle, while on Sunday 14th the parade through the streets of Pontedera will have the Piaggio factory as its final destination, which will exceptionally open the doors of the Ape 50 assembly lines to all participating enthusiasts.
