Energica: reorganization in view of the production recovery

Energica Motor Company, an international company specialized in the development of electric motorcycles, as well as a sole supplier for the three-year period 2019-2021 of the championship FIM Enel MotoE World Cup, considering the government provisions for the containment of the health emergency linked to Covid-19 coronavirus, announces his own reorganization for production recovery in view of a proposed reopening of industrial activities.

Already active for the so-called “Phase 2”

Livia Cevolini, CEO Energica Motor Company SpA, underlines the commitment and difficulties due to the current emergency period, but with the awareness of being in any case dutifully reactive for the recovery. The need to keep alive “our beating heart, Made in Italy manufacturing that has made us unique in the world”, Livia Cevolini reports again in her message.
“We are able to restart production with a maximum of 30 people on a surface of 3000m2, on XNUMX or more shifts to further increase the distance between people”, highlights the CEO of the Modena company on the occasion. Equipping each employee with surgical masks and gloves, as well as preparing disinfection measures for goods upon access and exit from the plant, as in the phase preceding the Lockdown.
Also on the occasion, Livia Cevolini who shares Confindustria's opinion on the setting up of a "Road map" for an orderly and safe reopening, he recalled how in the case of Energica, insurance was activated for the entire staff from 16 March, evaluating possible cases of positivity from COVID-19 with coverage until the end of the year, reiterating the priority of health and safety of workers.
“We are ready and lined up on the grid to restart according to the times and methods that the authorities will define”, the further message launched on the occasion. A recovery that can allow us to promptly respond to customer requests, remembering the growth of this reality. With several markets open, always following the regulations in force in each area, it is possible to restart the delivery process of vehicles already ordered and start again, including office activities in smart working. But, thinking about the entire supply chain, the active and safe return of suppliers, other important players in the sector, as mentioned, is also fundamental.
