energetic ego it will be the model chosen among the electric sports cars, from which a developed and more "racing" version will be derived for the teams Moto-e in 2019. Driven by an oil-cooled permanent magnet synchronous green heart/motor, it is capable of developing a power of 107kW (about 145 hp) from 4900 rpm to 10500 rpm and a torque of 200 Nm from 0 rpm to 4700 rpm, the Energica Ego electric motorcycle goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 3 seconds until you reach one maximum speed of 240 km / h with continuous thrust and without drops in engine speed dictated by the continuous gear changes of classic internal combustion engines, thus making it faster than a 600 supersport. Its brain, however, is managed by a sophisticated VCU which, unlike traditional vehicles where the control units present work separately, on the Energica Ego electric motorbike all the battery control units, the inverter, the battery charger and the ABS are constantly monitored and managed by Vehicle Control Unit which implements an adaptive multimap management algorithm for energy and engine power. While driving, the system dynamically adjusts the engine power based on the throttle control, the chosen mapping and the operating parameters of the battery and the main components of the vehicle 100 times per second. Finally, the chassis features a tubular trellis frame and a Brembo braking system equipped with BOSCH ABS.
