Energica: the Ego Corsa is ready to hit the track in Jerez

Energica – The approach path to FIM Enel MotoE World Cup 2019 continues with the return of MotoGP World Championship in the old continent, for what will be the first Grand Prix of the season on European soil. After the promising first three outings of the season at losail, Termas de rio hondo e Austin, it's now time for the futuristic electric super sports car Energica Ego Corsa to tackle the demo lap of the Andalusian circuit Jerez de la Frontera.

The Spanish Grand Prix weekend is one of the most anticipated of the entire season, as well as one of the most appreciated by fans, coming from every corner of Europe, who flock in hundreds of thousands to admire their heroes on the track. In this incredible racing atmosphere, the Energica Ego Corsa will be put to the test on the splendid 4,4km of the Jerez Circuit by the 125 2011cc World Champion, Nico Terol. The 29-year-old from Alcoy, a small town in the Valencian Community, boasts enormous experience in different categories and championships, and therefore with different types of motorbikes: also for this reason, his indications will therefore be extremely important for the final stages of the development of Ego Corsa with a view to 2019.”I am really excited about the opportunity given to me by Energica, Enel and Dorna – said Nico Terol – and I also have to thank my team, the Angel Nieto Team, for allowing me to take part in this demo lap. I've already had the chance to see the bike on TV at previous events and I have to say it's really nice, and the sound isn't bad at all!
