Energica will not race the Isle of Man TT. The company itself pointed this out in a note. In fact, on some social posts, some references appeared regarding a possible participation of the electric superbike manufacturer brand in the historic road race. “Energica will not officially participate in the TT. Energica Motor Company SpA dissociates itself from these statements".

A few days ago, a Dorna spokesperson stated that the Moto E will become a reality starting from 2019, i.e. the "green" version of the Moto GP, which should use exclusively electric motorbikes. The idea would be that of a championship consisting of 5 races for a trial period of 3 years. The number of laps will vary from 12 to 15 depending on the track.

The CEO of Dorna, Ezpeleta, confirmed the Moto E championship a few weeks ago, focusing on its "sustainability". Several rumors speak of Energica as a serious candidate to supply the bikes.
