Energica increases power for the new 2017 model years

Energica – Following the tests for Euro 4 approval, the Modena-based company reveals the new technical characteristics of its green racing cars: 145 horsepower declared for the Supersport Ego and 108 for the Streetfighter Eva.

The maximum power detected for EGO increases to 107 kW (maximum continuous power at 6.000 rpm), while for Eva it rises to 80 kW (maximum continuous power at 6.000 rpm).
The maximum torque value also increases: for Ego it goes from 195 to 200 Nm, while for Eva from 170 to 180 Nm. The 2017 range is already available from the official sales network at a price unchanged compared to 2016, €30.998,00 VAT included.

Until June 30th, the 2017 model years can be purchased with the “VP – Value Promotion” formula which offers the customer the possibility to choose between these options:

• Guaranteed trade-in value of your Energica motorbike plus a loyalty bonus of €6.000,00
• Super warranty on batteries: the warranty limit on the batteries of your Energica motorbike will be extended to 5 years or 100.000 km instead of the standard duration of 3 years or 50.000 km

Diagnostics

With Euro 4 approval, the new 2017 Energica model years will have OBD diagnostics (on board diagnostics). As per European regulations, Energica motorcycles will integrate standard software that will communicate with a universal diagnostic tool. In this way each workshop will be able to access the data to intervene on any repairs.
