Energica: at EICMA 2015 with the agility and aggressiveness of the new Eva [PHOTO]

Energica – Energica is also present at the 73rd edition of EICMA, which opened its doors to the public today. Energica Motor Company, the Modena-based manufacturer of high-performance electric motorcycles, arrives at the Milanese event a few weeks after the announcement that it has started the listing process on AIM Italia, the Alternative Capital Market managed by Borsa Italiana SpA

After the deliveries of the motorcycles produced to European and American importers, Energica has taken a further step towards production on a global scale. Several players are involved in the listing: UBS and Ambromobiliare as lead-advisor and co-advisor respectively, Banca Finnat as nomad and global coordinator, Banca Intermobiliare as co-lead manager. NCTM as legal advisor and PWC as auditor.

At Eicma 2015 there will be numerous Energica Motor Company innovations, starting with new equipment and the highly anticipated Energica Eva, present at the stand in its definitive guise and in 2 exclusive colours. Energica Eva is the EMC streetfighter equipped with an oil-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor capable of developing a power of 70kW (approximately 95 hp) and a torque of 170 Nm. The electric streetfighter has a range of up to 200km (ECO mode) and can reach a maximum speed of 200km/h in Sport mode. Like Energica Ego all the battery control units, the inverter, the battery charger and the ABS are constantly monitored and managed by a sophisticated Vehicle Control Unit. Energica Eva has neither gearbox nor clutch: the connection between rider and motorbike is completely entrusted to the ride-by-wire which allows the torque delivered by the engine to be dosed during acceleration and the regenerative torque (engine braking) to be dosed during deceleration. The streetfighter can be recharged outdoors via charging stations or from home. ANDNergica Eva is the only electric streetfighter in the world equipped with fast charge on board and was presented at Eicma in 2 versions, Electric Green and Dark Blue. Sales will begin in 2016.
