Energica: agreement with Total Italia for the installation of charging stations

Energica Motor Company, considering an international partnership signed in July 2020 with Total Lubrifiants, reports a new collaboration with Total Italy which will sponsor eleven charging installations at the Modena factory.

Energica was chosen by Total Italy as the first Italian location for this type of installation, making the headquarters even more technological in the new "Electric Valley". This is accompanied by a plan of commercial offers for wallboxes that Energica will propose to the official network of dealers and importers, as reported.
Livia Cevolini, CEO Energica Motor Company, underlines how: “The culture of electric also passes through the charging network”, placing emphasis on this aspect for the increase in the market. Growth linked to different aspects and in the combination of technological aspects and resources. “In our front-line commitment to the electric switch, we have focused primarily on the technology that has confirmed us among the leaders in the high-performance electric motorcycle sector. Now thanks to Total Italia which has chosen us as the ideal place for its first installation of Total columns on Italian territory, we can add a further innovative milestone to our production site".
Filippo Redaelli, CEO of Total Italia, indicates on the occasion: “The electric sector is a key and essential market today”, also considering the evolution of the markets in the face of challenges related to the environment. “For this reason we are particularly proud of the start of the collaboration with Energica, with which we also announce the installation of the first latest generation Total columns on Italian territory; an important project that we had been working on for some time and a significant step for our Company towards a new future".
Leaving from April 2021 inside the parking area of the Energica factory, Total and the Modena company will make it available 11 22 kW charging stations for brand employees and guests, as reported.
