Energica Eva: the Ambassadors carry out the first test rides of the electric rebel [PHOTO and VIDEO]

Energetic Eva – Energica Motor Company presented at Eicma 2015 the definitive version of its second model, the Eva, a streetfighter which is a perfect combination of driving agility and aggressiveness.
The rebellious spirit and easy handling of the Energica Eva allow the motorcyclist to tame the power of the motorbike, making it the perfect two-wheeler for navigating the metropolitan jungle.

Energica Eva is equipped with an oil-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor capable of developing a power of 70kW (approximately 95 hp) and a torque of 170 Nm. The electric streetfighter has a range of up to 200km (ECO mode) and can reach a maximum speed of 200km/h in Sport mode. Energica Eva is the only electric streetfighter in the world equipped with fast charge on board and the first test rides of the streetfighter with the Energica Ambassadors were possible thanks to the fast charge column by Efacec Electric Mobility, present within the Energica R&D Department.

Like Energica Ego all battery control units, the inverter, battery charger and ABS are constantly monitored and managed by a sophisticated Vehicle Control Unit. Energica Eva has neither gearbox nor clutch: the connection between rider and motorbike is completely entrusted to the ride-by-wire which allows the torque delivered by the engine to be dosed during acceleration and the regenerative torque (engine braking) to be dosed during deceleration. The streetfighter can be recharged outdoors via charging stations or from home. Sales will begin in 2016.
