The next edition of EICMA,International Cycle and Motorcycle Exhibition, scheduled from 3 to 8 November 2020 (the first two days intended for the press and operators) was postponed to 2021. The news was communicated today via a note released by EICMA Spa, the company controlled by Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle and Motorcycle Accessories). The CEO, Paul Magri, highlighted that “the decision was made with and for the entire supply chain”, as reported.

The event in 2021

On the occasion, Paul Magri underlined how the international importance of the Milanese event was the driving force “not to bet on the health evolution linked to the Covid-19 emergency”, listening to the entire supply chain and protecting the sector, considering that the event EICMA results “a winning model” and “important b2c and b2b opportunity in the trade fair sector”. A choice linked to the economic and social challenges, to the point of postponing the 2020 edition. The important event, therefore, is from 9 to 14 November 2021 always in Rho pavilions – Fiera Milano, as reported.
Peter Meda, president of the EICMA Board of Directors, hoping that the future edition can make us forget this difficult period, underlined the aim of “continue to protect not only global importance” of the appointment, “but also further enhance the strong bond with the territory and with the institutions that consider EICMA a current and essential event not only for the sector”.
The postponement of EICMA follows the suspension reported a few days ago Intermot, the German event dedicated to the two-wheel sector Neighborhood.
