EICMA – E-Tropolis reveals the 2014 news

After having recorded the highest number of registrations in the electric moped and motorcycle sector (ANCMA official data 2011 and January-September 2012), establishing itself as a trend setter and first Italian brand in its category, the group E-Tropolis premiered at EICMA 2012 the new collection of pedal-assisted bicycles.

The decision to brand a collection of pedal-assisted bicycles as Etropolis was born from the pressure of the German market, the world's leading 'consumer' of e-bikes, but also responds to the strong signals received in 2012 from Italy, which has never been more open to electric mobility. .

E-Tropolis Italia, therefore, is increasingly alongside those who love life "en plein air" and presents itself as a company capable of satisfying any need with a range of e-bikes suitable for all needs characterized by a common denominator: common: quality. The etropolis product range is constantly evolving, and follows the changing demands of the electric mobility market. Each vehicle from the Italian-German company is rich in technological features but always thoughtfully priced, so as to be accessible to anyone who intends to change their mobility models.

“URBAN” series

TREK: it is the most versatile pedal-assisted bicycle in the Etropolis range thanks to the two different models for men and women. Both equipped with the same technical characteristics, they differ in design: more sinuous and delicate lines for "her" and more marked features for "him". TREKKING is ideal for use in the city but, thanks to the 250 W motor, it is able to surprise even on steep routes and on light dirt roads. The 21-speed SHIMANO V-Brake gearbox and the "eco/normal/sport" mode selector positioned on the LCD display allow you to easily change your riding style according to your needs. The vehicle's autonomy is estimated at up to 120 km. The range accessories are completed by a Sony V3 – 36V, 11 Ah lithium ion battery and a convenient dedicated luggage rack for both models. CITY: it is the pedal-assisted bicycle designed for use in an urban context but, thanks to the 250 W motor, it does not disdain steep routes while the standard tires allow you to tackle only light dirt roads. The 7-speed SHIMANO V-Brake gearbox and the "eco/normal/sport" mode selector allow you to change your riding style according to your needs. The vehicle's autonomy is estimated at up to 100 km. The range accessories are completed by a Sony V3 – 36V, 11 Ah lithium ion battery and a convenient luggage rack. List price to the public €1.773,88 (including VAT)

After research work carried out for most of 2013, the Italian-German staff of E-Tropolis presents the new range of 'entry level' pedal-assisted bicycles at EICMA 2013.

This is the main Etropolis innovation of the show which aims to place high-performance products on the market (see technical data sheet) characterized by attractive design and timely German quality control but available at a competitive price and therefore accessible to the majority of consumers.

The 'ENTRY' series consists of TREK EVO, From CITY EVO and from FOLD EVO (“folding” model) the latter (in particular, but, of course, not only this) intended for commuters who flock to the big cities for study and work every day or for tourists and outdoor lovers interested in a less expensive means of transport. bulky, light and very practical to use for traveling during trips and holidays, especially on boats and campers. All 'entry' products are equipped with quality components (please refer to the technical data sheet) and have, among others, the controller which allows perfect energy delivery in assisted pedaling mode, limiting consumption and making the vehicles particularly silent. Each vehicle will be equipped as standard with an LED display that is simple to use and therefore accessible to all, but in production all 'entry' models will be equipped with the predisposition for the application of a latest generation LCD display (optional) which customers will be able to use more demanding.
