Updates also for the 11 kW range

At the Motorcycle Show EICMA 2023, which will welcome the public from 9 to 12 November, is the Californian brand Zero Motorcycles with the new 2024 range.

Capable of carving out an important role in the segment of full size and 100% electric motorbikes, offering a varied range of powers and intended use aimed at two-wheel lovers who want to get closer to electric motorbikes, Zero Motorcycles, confirming the price lists currently on promotion for 2024, presents at EICMA the news relating to three families of models: Street, Dual Sports e 11 kW.

Gamma Street

Zero SRF 2024

The Street range has the flagship models SR / F e SR/S. At EICMA 2023, the new "S" is revealed, based on the high-performance platform of its bigger sisters but registered as 11kW. The new Zero S MY24 offers an optimal ratio between cost of use and available autonomy, defined in California as "range for dollar", thanks to the new Z-Force 75-7 engine and at the established list price of €17.840.

Zero Motorcycles underlines that the Z-Force 75-7 engine that equips the new "S" in the 11kW variant offers superior performance to a thermal unit of equal power, thanks to the constant engine torque and progression managed by the electronics, without the losses due to traditional transmission. The Z-Force 75-7 for the 2024 model is also equipped with the same external hardware derived from the more powerful SR/F, while the specific internal architecture aims to maximize power output and reduce weight. So the full size electric naked weighs a total of 223 kg. The declared autonomy is 248 km in the urban cycle.

It is also updated SR, which in the 2024 model year will be available as standard in the configuration that can be driven with an A2 licence, but with the possibility of an upgrade in view of the transition to the A licence.

Dual Sport range

Zero DSR

The “Dual Sport” Zero family in 2024 will consist of the adventure bike DSR/X, which in the MY24 version is equipped with standard spoked wheels and Pirelli Scorpion tires, and two motorcycles made on the same platform but dedicated to holders of an A1 or B and A2 license: the DS MY24 and the DSR MY24.

La DS, the new entry-level product to the Dual Sport range, has superior comfort and autonomy characteristics on a vehicle with an engine that can be registered within 11 kW and therefore can be driven from 16 years of age or with a B driving licence. The brand new DS MY24 offers high torque, Pirelli Scorpion tires and light alloy wheels as standard for a weight of the bike set at 239 kg. Even more snappy is the DSR 2024 with a maximum torque of 170 Nm, which can be boosted up to 195 Nm with a software update.

Another novelty is the Black Forest Edition version dedicated to the top of the range DSR/X, the Zero Motorcycles adventure bike. Made for the most extreme adventures, the DSR/X Black Forest Edition, characterized by an exclusive glossy total black colour, boasts a full optional equipment which includes an oversized windshield, hand guards, engine protection bars, headlight protectors, additional headlights, central stand and trio of bags.

11 kW range

Zero DS 2024

You update them Zero S, Zero DS e No FXE are the models proposed with power limited to 11 kW. Developed to offer a versatile solution and accessible to motorcyclists of all levels of experience and age, these models can be ridden with A1 or B licenses. The 11 kW range also includes the FXE supermotard which with the 2024 model sports a new glossy white livery .

The SR MY24 and DSR MY24 models also offer a new feature, designed to allow the performance of the motorbikes to grow as the experience of the rider increases. The two motorbikes are in fact available in the version registered with an A2 license and therefore with registered power within 35 kW. Thanks to the recent legislation on driving licences, after two years of driving A2 license holders will be able to switch to the "free" A with just a practical test. Through the sophisticated electronic management of the engine, it will therefore be possible to exceed the 35 kW limit and allow Zero SR MY24 and DSR MY24 owners not only to use their motorbike for the driving test, but also to experience the performance of these motorcycle without further limitations.
