EICMA 2023, new Suzuki GSX-S1000GX and GSX-8R: Paolo Ilariuzzi presents us the two new products [VIDEO INTERVIEW]

the stand Suzuki set up to EICMA 2023, which opened its doors today at Rho Fiera Milano to welcome the public from Thursday 8th to Sunday 12th November, is a candidate to be one of the most visited of the event. The reason, or rather the reasons, are two: namely the new ones GSX-S1000GX e GSX-8R presented as a world premiere.

The two new motorcycles from the Japanese company aim to become a point of reference in their respective segments, as he explained to our microphones Paul Ilariuzzi, director of the Motorcycle and Marine division of Suzuki Italia, showing us the two great innovations of the Japanese manufacturer. 

Suzuki GSX-S1000GX

The new Suzuki GSX-S1000GX, where G stands for grand and X for crossover, is the new maxi that brings together all the best of Suzuki's technologies to offer top performance. The beating heart is the 1.000 cm3 engine, a four-cylinder that develops 152 HP of power and 106 Nm of torque, which pushes a motorcycle with a more vertical ride to tackle any type of route and long journeys, with comfort ensured by a package of suspensions unprecedented on the market, capable of automatically recognizing the surface on which you are traveling and adjusting the suspensions accordingly for maximum safety. Already available to order at the price of 17.600 €, the new Suzuki GSX-S1000GX will arrive in dealerships in January 2024. 

Suzuki GSX-8R

The other novelty from the Japanese manufacturer is the Suzuki GSX-8R, a new sports car that shares its soul and engine with the naked GSX-8S. Thus the 776 cm3 forward-facing parallel twin engine has been given an even sportier vocation, with a bike that looks like a faired one that promises to deliver important performance thanks to the 83 HP of power and the 78 Nm of maximum torque delivered by the engine. Also in dealerships from the beginning of next year, the starting price of the GSX-8R is 9.700 €.
