On the day of 25th November, To 78th edition of EICMA, there was the special “One More Lap” event organized by Yamaha in collaboration with the International Two Wheel Exhibition, at theMotoLive Arena of the exhibition at Fiera Milano Rho. Greetings to Valentino Rossi from numerous enthusiasts, during a meeting lasting over an hour and a half.

The event

An itinerary with Yamaha lasting 16 years and full of emotions. At the end of the day, Yamaha Motor celebrated its rider with a special gift: a Yamaha YZF-R1 VR46 special livery. A bike with which Valentino Rossi will continue to train on the saddle, as reported.
Rossi was also greeted and thanked by Lin Jarvis, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing, with the arrival on stage of a small Yamaha PW50 “pink” #46 to also greet the champion's future daughter. Among the greetings also that of Éric De Seynes, President of Yamaha Motor Europe and the thanks expressed by Pietro Meda, president of EICMA SpA, for the event held on the occasion of the Milanese event.

Accompanying Rossi's story was also Federica Masolin, face of Sky Sport, in a succession of interesting moments experienced by the Doctor with Yamaha and in an atmosphere enriched by the four world championship Yamaha YZR-M1s with the champion from Tavullia, who reached the stage riding a Yamaha YZF-M1 60th anniversary.
On the emotional journey the Doctor was also accompanied by his friend Linus, Artistic Director of Radio Deejay. Just as there were several VIP friends who sent their messages of thanks and esteem.

A 16 year long excursus, entitled with Yamaha of 2004, continuing with the encore of 2005, also recalling the success with the Corkscrew maneuver on the Laguna Seca track and the further world championship triumphs in 2008 e 2009, until the last time on the highest podium at Assen in 2017. Even the most difficult moments were recalled, such as the fall in 2010 during the tests at Mugello or the crash that prevented the conquest of the title in 2006.
