EICMA 2018: all the info to best experience the Milanese show

EICMA 2018 – There are only a few hours left until the opening of the 2018 edition of EICMA, the motorcycle show that until Sunday will transform Milan into the world capital of two wheels.

EICMA 2018: opening days and hours

After the canonical premier dedicated to the press, EICMA will open its doors to the public from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th November, continuously from 9.30am to 18.30pm, except for Friday, the day on which the doors will close at 22pm. Entrance tickets to the 76th EICMA Edition can be purchased online or directly at the receptions of Fiera Milano (Rho) from the 1st day of opening to the public, i.e. Thursday 8 November. The price of the full ticket varies from 19 euros online to 23 euros at the ticket offices. Children from 0 to 8 years old enter free, those from 9 to 13 years old pay 12 euros and those from 14 to 17 years old 15 euros. Also special for Over 65s: 12 euros. Visitors with disabilities and their companion have free access by presenting their disability card or equivalent certificate at the reception.

EICMA 2018 is also MotoLive

Like every year, "MotoLive" will return to the external area, the most fascinating and overwhelming Special Event which has always satisfied EICMA visitors with days of racing, shows, music and entertainment. An opportunity to see up close the national and international riders of the most prestigious Off-Road disciplines competing for titles on the MotoLive circuit. Between one duel and another the adrenaline increases with the moments dedicated to Freestyle Motocross and Acrobatic Trial in which riders show their skills. A sport that represents the perfect combination of passion and perfection in technical execution. MotoLive is the dynamic reality of EICMA, the area where emotions multiply and are shared, where the spectator can immerse himself in the shoes of the pilot, experience the thrill of being able to fly without necessarily having wings, listen to the "roar" of the engines that they warm up behind the starting gates, watching with their own eyes the effort and dedication that each Champion puts into their movements. Precision, speed and determination are the daily bread of these "warriors" who fill the sky like fireworks, while the roar of the motorbike competes with the increasingly passionate support of the public.

This year too, the city of Milan is ready to get on track alongside the 76th edition of EICMA, a rich schedule of events and appointments to experience the emotion of EICMA 24 hours a day until 11 November. There are many areas that have responded with great enthusiasm to EICMA's call and which will be involved in "RideMood", a true container of culture, cabaret, fashion, taste and lifestyle with many events that will enliven the Isola motorcycle district, the east side of Lambrate, the clubbing district of Garibaldi-Sempione, the creative nightlife of Porta Venezia and the "rebelot" of the Navigli and Darsena. And at the center of the map, again this year La Rinascente, an iconic place and symbol of the Milanese city, which presents the "Love to Ride". It too is richer and more spectacular than ever. The soundtrack of the Motorcycle Week is made up of a lot of music, of all genres: from the "bad" one of the rebels without redemption to the very stylish one of the Mods, from the party music of the 50s to the forays into punk, country and indie. RideMood is therefore the opportunity for EICMA visitors and city-users of the metropolis to experience Milan in celebration, in legendary places but also by discovering new views and unprecedented city realities.
