EICMA 2018: all the news from A to Z of the Milan show

EICMA – The 2018 edition of EICMA was marked by many innovations. From mini electric scooters to maxi sports cars, visitors to the Milanese event had the opportunity to really feast their eyes between one stand and another, touching their next motorbike or the one they have always dreamed of. Aprilia

The name Aprilia has always evoked sportiness and performance, and is certainly an example of how the work done by a racing department can be transferred effectively and not just as an end in itself to road products. there RSV4 1100 Factory is a concrete example of this. Beta

It is a very beautiful moment for Beta which has dominated far and wide in the enduro sector, collecting victories and world titles (seven!) to celebrate with many new features in the 2019 range.

BMW

Many new features brought to EICMA by BMW. From the S 1000 RR, to the 1250 GS, 1250 GS Adventure and F 850 ​​GS Adventure, up to the C 400 GT scooter, up to the R 1250 R and R 1250 RS, in BMW they did things big.

Ducati

Will she be the queen of EICMA 2018 or not? We'll know soon enough, in the meantime Ducati Panigale V4 R. has already managed to win over the public at the show. The very young Dutch company brought the your AppScooter, the electric scooter, connected and with a declared autonomy of up to 240 kilometres. It will go on sale in Italy in the second half of 2019, with a price starting from 3.399 euros.

Harley-Davidson

Harley-Davidson goes electric at EICMA 2018, the historic US brand presented the definitive version of the Live Wire. Victory in the Battle of the Kings is awarded and many new features await us that will expand the range.

Honda

CBR 1000 RR, CRF 450 XD Dual, CBR 500 and 650 R (which completely changes its appearance, becoming the fourth Neo Sport Cafè): the aces dropped by Honda are not bad.

Husqvarna

Husqvarna Motorcycles presents itself at EICMA 2018 with several interesting innovations including the series version of the Svartpilen and the Vitpilen 701 AERO concept bike which mark a further step forward for Husqvarna in the street segment.

Kawasaki

For all tastes, for all budgets, but also for all uses. Kawasaki has presented a range truly full of new features, to satisfy those looking for a motorbike to use every day or a sports bike to put to the test on the weekend.

KTM

KTM presented itself at EICMA 2018 with the long-awaited KTM 790 Adventure and KTM 790 Adventure R: two different declinations of a passion called enduro. Plus the 690 Enduro R makes its debut.

Kymco

A sports motorbike, electric and perhaps with gearbox, capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds: for now the Kymco Super NEX it is a prototype, but in the future the Taiwanese company will focus heavily on this project. On the current production, however, there are many new features, from the new Agility 300, the People S of the same displacement and the XTown CT 125.

Indian Motorcycle

Indian Motorcycle, on the occasion of EICMA 2018, presented the new line of accessories for FTR1200, the latest creation from the American company which takes inspiration from the FTR750 Scout, is equipped with a 60 cc water-cooled 1.230° V-twin engine, with maximum power of 120 HP at 8.250 rpm, while the torque of 115 Nm at 6.000 rpm.

Moto Guzzi

After having touched it at the Open Days at the beginning of the summer, during EICMA we managed to touch the new one first hand Moto Guzzi V85 TT: which marks a historic turning point for the Como company which enters the enduro market and does so with an interesting motorbike both from an aesthetic point of view and from a constructive point of view.

MV Agusta
