EICMA 2018 | MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro voted the most beautiful motorbike of the show

La MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Gold Series has won over most of the audience EICMA 2018 and won the "Most beautiful motorcycle of the Show" award thanks to 35% of the 16.000 total votes.

The competition had very simple rules: all visitors to EICMA 2018 had the opportunity to express their preferences via a postcard and this year, after the long reign of Ducati, the scepter went to the magnificent MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro which he inflicted heavy gaps on his opponents. Behind him, in fact, they ranked Ducati Hypermotard SP (with 19% of the votes) and theAprilia RVS4 1100 Factory (9%). The awards ceremony took place yesterday afternoon, on the final day of EICMA 2018 in the presence of the president of the brand, Giovanni Castiglioni; by Adrian Morton, Director of Design: by Andrea dell'Orto, president of EICMA and the trade press. The Brutale 1000 Serie Oro won over the public thanks to its record power (212 hp) and a maximum speed of over 300 km/h, which make this MV Agusta a true hyper-naked and certainly the fastest naked on the market, as well as a new reference in the category.

Given and considering that for almost everyone the queen of Eicma 2018 was the Ducati Panigale V4R, also winning in our survey on social media, with a handful of votes more than the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro, we wanted to delve deeper into the topic. The regulation requires that each house indicate only one model that can be voted for. So Ducati effectively eliminated the V4R in favor of the Hypermotard 950, while BMW preferred the new C400GT scooter to the second generation S1000RR. Definitely particular choices, perhaps motivated by wanting to avoid a defeat on the field for their queens? The fact remains that the public, despite no longer buying them like they used to, continues to dream of super sports cars, like never before this year.
