SHOEI  (founded by Eitaro Kamata) produces and develops technology for racing helmets since 1958, saw the brand's reputation expand in the 60s, from its homeland of Japan to the United States to all international markets, receiving the synonym of top quality product. Production still remains fixed in Japan, where attention to detail and care for each individual helmet is taken care of by each individual employee from factory to sale. SHOEI has therefore decided to also take part in the EICMA 2017 International Cycle and Motorcycle Exhibition to show its latest innovations in the racing field and beyond.

To meet the ever-increasing demands and performance for a racing helmet, SHOEI decided to develop
and introduce a pure racing model theX-SPIRIT III. Developed in the most extreme environment possible, on the track, with MotoGP riders who had a more than decisive role in testing the innovations.

X-SPIRIT III presents itself as a total reworking of the racing concept, although it gives continuity to X series. A combination created to win races. In the foreground, the aerodynamic shape of the shell, which guarantees maximum stability even at speeds above 300 km/h (fruit of experience in MotoGP), was designed to obtain the most penetrating shape possible, ventilation system and including breathing without giving up the safety of new materials and construction techniques.

Features:
– Fiber shell AIM. Organic, multi-composite, high-performance fibers combined in multiple layers for optimal shock absorbency and stiffness.

– Multiple density EPS inner shell Optimized protection thanks to different levels of material at different densities.

– Anti-fog visor pinlock CWR-F . 2-dimensional visor for simple application of films tear-offs, aerodynamic diffusers for optimal performance.

– DD double ring strap. Easy to use and allows perfect adjustment

– EQRS (emergency quick release system) safety system for simplified removal of the device in the event of an accident.

– 4 different outer shell sizes For a perfect fit and compact sizes XS-S, M, L, XL-XXL.

- Removable and washable strap cover, cheek pads and padding for better care

– 6 air intakes and 6 extractors. Innovative pillow ventilation system, active cooling also in the lower part

– Rear wing equipped with flaps. 2 sizes available to use based on driving conditions,

– Aerodynamic system with lower spoiler capable of controlling airflow to minimize drag and aerodynamic lift, eliminating turbulence
