EICMA 2017 will be remembered as the record-breaking edition

EICMA - TheInternational Cycle and Motorcycle Exhibition confirms itself as the most important showroom dedicated to two wheels in the world and an unrivaled point of reference, both in terms of public attendance, number of exhibitors and number of operators and media.

An unmissable event for all fans which, this year, recorded a record number of attendees. Compared to the 2015 edition (comparison over the biennial period), in fact, the audience grew by +24%, a double-digit increase which makes the excellent reception of the contents and the over 150 new products and world premieres presented at EICMA in this edition concrete and tangible.

There was also a significant increase in the number of exhibitors present which, between direct and indirect, stood at 1.713, with a +20% compared to 2015, coming from 42 countries. As many as 61% of exhibiting companies represent foreign countries. The data is also confirmed by an increase in net employment of +15%. The participation of operators in the sector recorded a significant double-digit increase in foreign operators (+28%).

Extraordinary results which confirm the strategy outlined by the President of EICMA Antonello Montante, by the managers and all the associates and producers in the sector, founded on an innovative communication activity that aims at internationalization, is successful. A journey that began 103 years ago and which has led the Exhibition today to become a privileged point of reference in the world of two wheels and a successful model to be exported.
