There was great enthusiasm on the part of the exhibitors who will present, from 7 to 12 November (7 and 8 days dedicated to operators and the press), over 150 world previews of cycles, motorcycles and accessories. All the news and products presented by exhibitors will occupy pavilions 9-11, 13-15, 18, 22-24. Given the enormous number of requests to participate in EICMA from companies and brands, the opening of an additional pavilion (PAD.18) will be added to the program.

EICMA 2017 very rich program and the novelty of the "Thematic Areas" which we will describe below in depth:

SECURITY AREA (HALL.18)
In the era of sustainable mobility, the protection of vulnerable users, such as cyclists and motorcyclists, is an essential commitment. Traditionally, EICMA in collaboration with Confindustria ANCMA, hosts an area dedicated to training and communication initiatives or innovative products for improving the safety levels of those who travel on two wheels. The 2017 Security Area is structured into islands, which host various exhibitors and dedicated activities. A traditional presence is that of the Traffic Police, which with a specific activity dedicated to younger people brings the world of institutions closer to the new generations, who will be protagonists of tomorrow's mobility. The thrill of riding a motorbike on the road is offered by the Motofalchi of the local police of Milan, who transmit the values of responsible driving to young people through the use of electric mini motorbikes used in a controlled environment. The associations are represented by the non-profit organization “Enough blood on the roads”, which, also in this edition, will organize an award ceremony for the main protagonists of road safety divided into categories at EICMA. Motomorphosys is a project that uses art to promote safety, understood as a declination of civic coexistence: the silhouettes of some motorbikes customized by designers, students or the EICMA public themselves, represent the starting point of a path that unfolds through raising student awareness in schools or charity fundraising initiatives.
The "Italian Two Wheel Foundation" also promotes the values of road education and social inclusion through some initiatives that take place during the year and which find the opportunity to be told and disseminated in EICMA. Alongside the world of institutions and associations, the Safety Area also hosts companies that combine business and social responsibility, through the development of innovative products dedicated to the protection of those who choose motorbikes for their daily travels. Motoairbag is among the first companies to have developed a mechanically operated airbag for motorcycle use, which combines effective performance and reliability over time. Holo it is instead a unique device on the national scene, which allows the driver - in the event of vehicle breakdown - to project a luminous triangle onto the road surface without having to get out of the vehicle and expose himself to the risk of being hit.

TEMPORARY BIKERS SHOP (HALL.9)
For the fourth consecutive year the Temporary Bikers Shop commercial space and ideal meeting place between companies and the public where it is possible to purchase all types of equipment and accessories for motorbikes: such as helmets, gloves, clothing, boots, products for two-wheel maintenance, spare parts, components and much more, with truly unique discounts and benefits. The success of the area is demonstrated by the enormous consensus received both from the public, who managed to take home a piece of EICMA, and from the exhibitors present.

E-BIKE
The E-Bike area is entirely dedicated to sustainable mobility on board cycles and bicycles equipped with batteries. Present the main innovations, the next models and lots of technology. But you need to try them to understand the difference from those with muscle traction. A 1.000 meter track has been created which, with a constant gradient of 8%, simulates a mountain road to personally experience the advantages of pedal assistance. In short, the ingredients are all there to present a new way of cycling, capable of approaching urban mobility and those who don't get on the saddle for reasons linked to excessive distance or fatigue. The E-Bike area is the international showcase for foreign exhibitors and for the excellence of Made in Italy. The space was created in collaboration with BikeUP, creator of the first European festival entirely focused on E-Bikes, so as to be able to correctly illustrate to the public all the news in the electric bike sector.

START UP AND INNOVATION AREA (HALL 11)
A place for discussion and exchange of ideas, capable of giving international visibility to new entries and supporting them in their launch phase. The Start Up and Innovation area is an EICMA challenge. An Italian and foreign companies present to the general public for the first time ideas, solutions, prototypes, capable of innovating and therefore improving a sector that has been dynamic and open to change over the years. Testimony to how much Eicma believes in young people and how much it works to create all the conditions to facilitate start-ups in doing business.
