EICMA 2016, the return of E-Bikes

E bike – EICMA, now in its 74th event, as usual reserves the greatest technological and stylistic innovations in the sector for two-wheel enthusiasts.

This edition of the most important International Cycle and Motorcycle Exhibition, held as since 2005 in the pavilions of the Milan Rho Fair, also managed to surprise with the inauguration of the E-Bike area, entirely reserved for pedal-assisted bicycles . Thanks to the collaboration with BikeUP, the international E-Bike festival, a vast area was set up inside Pavilion 18 in which manufacturers and exhibitors presented the latest technological innovations as well as the innovative proposals for next year. For the occasion, numerous activities and events were also made available to visitors including the DJ set, the body painting of these bikes, the Bike Trial show and a special 1.300 meter track to test the advantages of pedal assistance.

This extension of EICMA's offer was also dictated by the huge growth of the sector as demonstrated by the Confindustria ANCMA data relating to 2015 (+9,8% of sales in Italy, +90,3% of production, +166,8 % of exports). It is therefore not surprising that the 74th edition of this fair, which has always kept up with the times, managed to present the maximum of excellence for this ecological and sustainable segment of two-wheelers which is constantly developing.
