EICMA 2015 – The countdown to EICMA 2015, scheduled at Fiera Milano in Rho, from 17 to 22 November 2015 (17 and 18 days reserved for the press and operators), officially began with the press conference held today at 11.30 am at the Circolo della Stampa of Milan. Welcoming the press and the representatives of the many manufacturers, who will liven up the two-wheeled event again this year, was Pier Francesco Caliari, General Director of Confindustria Ancma. "101 years is a long time and we are moving towards new goals. " he has declared To be heated. "Finally the market is showing a positive sign and this is the most important encouragement for the 2015 edition of the World Motorcycle Exhibition. It will be a fundamental year for us, of consolidation. The motorbike is passion and mobility. The goal is to reach the same number of spectators as last year and at least bring one more spectator. "

In the 2015 edition of EICMA, the World Motorcycling Exhibition, around 25 world premieres are expected and there will be special areas (EICMA Custom, Safety Area and MotoLive), but also great returns such as the EICMA Store and the Temporary Bikers Shop. This year the Exhibition will take place on the west side of the fairgrounds, occupying pavilions 9-11, 13-15, 22-24. Continuing with the numbers, there will be 1.400 exhibitors and companies represented, of which 60% come from abroad, counting 44 different countries, and 49% represent new entries and returns. The waiting list currently includes 120 companies, 65% of which are foreign. The Match Making platform is also confirmed, the service dedicated to B2B, available to all exhibitors free of charge, offers the possibility of putting sector professionals in contact and organizing targeted meetings, to enhance their presence at the Exhibition. “This year too, EICMA is preparing to be the richest, most interesting and appreciated international event in the world of two wheels. An extraordinary opportunity to celebrate a sector that has always played a leading role in the Italian production system and which has contributed to making the name of our country famous and authoritative abroad.” he said Antonello Montante, president of EICMA. "With this edition, a new era begins for the World Motorcycling Exhibition, which sets new long-term objectives: to support more than ever companies that operate internationally and those that are now entering foreign markets. EICMA can and must be the driving force of virtuous circles that allow us to support the recovery of a sector capable, potentially, of returning to being central in the development of the country's economy as it has been in the past. The data from this edition, which sees an increase in foreign attendance which is equal to 60% of exhibitors, tells us that we are going in the right direction".

As mentioned, there will be no shortage of "special" areas in this edition too. In the MotoLive arena, the racing area of EICMA, prestigious races such as the finals of the Internazionali d'Italia Supercross will be staged. In 2015 the EICMA charity event, EICMA FOR, will be dedicated to Marina Romoli Onlus. 10 teams, 30 drivers, will compete in a relay that involves the passage of the transponder between different disciplines: Flat Track, Sidecar Cross and Supercross. There will be no shortage of areas designated for Test Rides and Riding Schools and live broadcasts from Radio DEEJAY which confirms itself as the official radio of the event. Not to be missed, then, is the appointment with the International Custom Bike Show, developed in collaboration with Low Ride magazine and capable of attracting the attention of the most important world magazines. Now in its third edition, the Lady Custom Bike Contest, which after the 8 Italian stages held during the year, will crown the winner during the Exhibition. The photographic projects in the area will, however, be curated by the internationally renowned photographer Monica Silva.

The social campaign for road safety "Watch out for 2 Wheels", which is part of the broader European Road Safety Strategy project promoted by Acem, Ancma's analogue at a European level, will also continue during EICMA 2015. With “Watch out for two wheels” Confindustria ANCMA, which has always been committed to the issue of road safety, aims to increase the levels of attention towards users of two-wheeled vehicles (bicycles, scooters and motorcycles) by drivers of other categories of vehicles circulating on the roads and to open a reflection on the topic of road safety. Safety and attention are precisely the central messages that also emerge from the viral video created by ANCMA which will be broadcast on national TV and social networks and which will be the common thread throughout the entire area.
