If Ducati has decided to give the name of its hometown to this bike, it means that we are faced with something truly special. Claudio Domenicali, general director of Ducati Motor Holding, also confirmed this, defining the 1199 Panigale as the newest and most advanced version of the sports cars created in Borgo Panigale. How can you not believe him?

This two-wheeler really appears very innovative. The project aims to combine the monocoque chassis solution with the renewed Superquadro L-twin engine and with a large number of small electronic innovations coming directly from the world of racing and MotoGP. The final power produced by this wild horse is 195 HP for just 164 kg of dry weight. In other words, be careful not to get wings, because you could really take off. Don't worry, however, because this little gem, which will be on display starting next weekend at the EICMA in Milan, is perfectly approved for the road, even if it has to make an impression on the track too.

The bike has three different Riding Modes and include systems such as sports ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Electronic Suspension, Ducati Quick-Shift, Engine Brake Control and a long series of devices that provide safety and homogeneity of the guide. There is also a color TFT display that is programmed to adapt to the selected driving type.

The Ducati 1199 Panigale will be available in dealerships starting from the first months of next year. In the meantime, don't miss it at EICMA 2011.
