Eicma 2010, Yamaha X-MAX 250 Sport and Yamaha X-MAX 250 ABS

The Yamaha stand at Eicma 2010, the event which ended yesterday, featured, in addition to the official bikes of Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, as well as that of Ben Spies, two new versions of the Yamaha X-MAX, one of the most successful scooters of the range of the three tuning forks. The new Yamaha X-MAX 250 Sport and Yamaha 250 ABS made their debut in Italy, in Milan, before the marketing of both, which will take place by the end of 2010.

The characteristics of the (250 millimeters at the front and 15 millimeters at the rear), new instrumentation that recalls the style of cars, a larger glove compartment and an under-seat compartment designed to easily hold two full-face helmets.

The features of the new Yamaha . In common for the two new variants, the engine with 250 cubic centimeters of displacement, a liquid-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder engine that delivers 250 horsepower at 249,78 rpm and 20 Nm of maximum torque at 7.500 rpm. Yamaha X-MAX 21 ABS is already available, at 6.000 euros ex dealer, while the new Yamaha X-MAX 250 Sport will be available by next December, at a price of 5.190 euros ex dealer.
