The Milan Motor Show was not just the showcase of the Europeans or the Japanese motorcycle manufacturers, arrogantly perched on their pedestal of sales superiority, each in their own way leaders in the market: from 2 to 7 November 2010, at the Rho fair However, the Italian-Indians of the LML motorcycle company also colored part of a pavilion, with a lively, youthful stand, full of girls, in order to try to take root more in the scooter hemisphere. With what? With LML Star, the only product of the range, conjugated on the soil of Eicma 2010 in all its flavors.

It was born recently: the Kanpur-based company, LML Ltd., merged over the past year with some Italian entrepreneurs, giving birth to LML Italia and new lifeblood to a historic motorcycle from the past of the Italian Dolce Vita , Vespa PX. It's called the LML Star, sure, but it's the same compact scooter, just a little shiny, with a brief halo of novelty. It goes without saying that the desire to broaden its presence on the market is there and that LML and its Star have the history of Vespa PX on their side, which gives a certain amount of heritage to the scooter, even though it was born just a few months ago.

A bit like reviving a Sofia Loren from forty years ago and wearing Dolce&Gabbana trousers: the new LML Star is good for the nostalgic or for those who have a vintage patina in their hearts, while respecting the most recent fashions: helmet on the head and possibility of customizing your own bodywork: would you ever buy the new Star for your son or daughter?
