Ecooter E2: compact electric scooter for getting around the city [PHOTO]

Italy2Volt, importer and distributor of electric scooters for Italy, introduces it to the market Ecooters. A third brand alongside those Jonway and FD Motors. The specimen E2 is offered in variations E2 City (L1e) ed E2 Sports (L3e) also available in “+” mode, E2 City+ ed E2 Sport+, with double battery kit.

Electric scooter, two versions and “+” mode

The style is minimalist, designed for mobility in urban areas and combined with an electric thrust, with an ergonomic and functional setting, given a low center of gravity and weight balance. There are five color variations including white, blue, matt grey, matt black and red.
A vehicle of limited size and weight: 1.840 millimeters of length, 700 mm wide and 96 Kg. The design is enlivened by optical groups that define a single band of LED light. The vehicle is equipped with an adaptive digital display, through which you can check speed and battery status. The floor is flat and also features a central bag hook. The saddle is placed at a height of 740 mm and the saddle pad can accommodate a jet helmet. The vehicle features aluminum rims for 12-inch wheels, which are associated with 100/80 tyres.

Technique and equipment

The chassis is made up of suspensions with front hydraulic telescopic forks, as well as a single hydraulic shock absorber at the rear with a hydraulic braking system characterized by a front disc 220 millimeters and back from 200 mm and CBS combined braking only for the Sport variant, as indicated.
The Ecooter E2 City and Ecooter E2 Sport models are equipped with a technological key to start, check the vehicle and open the underseat compartment, together with a mobile phone holder with USB socket, cruise control and anti-theft device.

Engine and power supply

The mid-motor brushless electric motor, positioned centrally in the rear swingarm, results from 3.0 kW of maximum power speaking of the version E2 City and 4.0 kW moving on to the example E2 Sports, achieving speeds of 45 km/h and 75 km/h. One is associated with the unit Removable battery lithium of 15,3 kg from 42 Ah / 2,7 kWh.
The E2 Sport example is equipped with two driving modes, choosing between Smart which allows a maximum speed of around 50 km/h and Sport for using full power.
According to the information, the battery has an autonomy that varies between 80 km of the E2 City and 75 km of the E2 Sport considering a Smart mode. Charging times from 0 to 100% are approximately 6 hours. On the E2 City+ and E2 Sport+ models with an additional removable battery (9,5 kg of 20 Ah / 1,3 kWh), there is an additional range of 40 km, according to the indications.

Electric Ecooter models are available at over 30 national dealers of the Italy2Volt network. Prices start from 3.390 euros for an E2 City model (2.279 euros with 40% incentive and scrapping) and 4.050 euros for E2 Sport (2.722 euros with 40% incentive and scrapping), up to 3.990 euros for E2 City+ (2.682 euros with incentive 40% and scrapping) and 4.650 euros for E2 Sport+ (3.125 euros with 40% incentive and scrapping). The figures include 22% VAT ex dealer and 24 month warranty, as reported.
