Ecoincentives 2010: 9 BMW Motorrad models can benefit from them

The G Series, 450 cc and 650 cc single cylinders, and the F Series, equipped with the parallel twin, fall within the parameters necessary to take advantage of it.

There are 2010 BMW Motorrad models that fall within the parameters imposed by the 9 Ecoincentives, which are joined by the 4 weakened models for new drivers: all the single-cylinder models of the G Series, 450 cc and 650 cc displacement, and the models of the F Series, 650 and 800 cc.

The 2010 Ecoincentives provide a bonus equal to 10% of the list price, up to a maximum of 750 Euros for the purchase of Euro3 approved motorcycles with a maximum power of up to 70 kW, with the simultaneous scrapping of a Euro 0 or Euro 1 motorcycle.

The single-cylinder “G” Series

* The G 450
* G 650 Xcountry, a Scrambler with a slightly retro look, suitable for all terrains and perfect for urban commuting. Thanks to the low seat it is also perfect for women.
* The G 650 Xmoto, a light and agile motard, agile and very streamlined, perfect for cornering.
* The G 650 Xchallenge, an Enduro capable of combining road racing skills on asphalt and perfect for discovering paths and dirt roads.

The parallel twins of the “F” Series

* F 800 S. A medium-displacement semi-faired model suitable for urban commuting and short-medium range tourism.
* F 800 ST. It is the smallest tourist car from BMW. Thanks to the full fairing, the bag system and the versatile parallel twin cylinder it allows for wide use.
* F 800 R. Launched in mid-2009, the F 800 R is a fun naked suitable for urban and extra-urban use. The aggressive and personal design is appealing to younger audiences. It is also available with the Chris Pfeiffer Edition livery of Stunt Riding World Champion Chris Pfeiffer.
* The F 650 GS is a travel enduro with a very comfortable riding position, easy to use and, thanks to the perfect ergonomics and the engine with smooth and progressive delivery, it is also perfect for those who pick up the motorbike again after a few years or are at the beginning. The reduced seat height and the fuel-efficient engine make the F 650 GS ideal for city use too.
* The F 800 GS is a lightweight and versatile travel enduro. The powerful, reliable and economical engine is perfect for urban commuting as well as medium and long-distance tourism. The F 800 GS is the point of reference among on-off road Enduros, thanks to a refined suspension system and the 21" front wheel it is also suitable for off-road excursions and therefore for raids and extreme journeys.

The F 800 S, F 800 ST, F 800 R and F 650 GS models are also available in a depowered version at 25 kW for new drivers. According to the legislation, this version also allows access to the 2010 Eco-incentives.

The scrapping campaign in force for motorcycles purchased from 6 April 2010 until 31 December 2010, unless the allocated funds have previously been exhausted.
