As reported on the portal of Ministry of Economic Development, from 10:00 on 19 October 2022 is back in operation for dealers platform, to book the incentives referring topurchase of electric mopeds and motorcycles. Another 20 million euros have been allocated by the Ministry for 2022.

This contribution, which concerns natural persons who purchase a new electric example of the categories L1e, L2e, L3e, L4e, L5e, L6e, L7e, will be calculated on the percentage of the purchase price and specifies: 30% for purchases without scrapping e 40% for those with scrapping.
As established by the simplification decree, the Ministry of Economic Development is making another 20 million euros available for this year for these incentives.
During the day, given some inaccuracies reported on the reopening of the platform, Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle and Motorcycle Accessories) has released a note which highlights that the initiative “It's not about e-bikes”. Therefore, the purchase of pedal-assisted bicycles will not be supported, but only "L" category electric mopeds and motorcycles.
