E-Vivacity awaits you in June

Presented in its definitive version at Eicma 2011 e-Vivacity, the 100% electric Peugeot scooter, will arrive in Peugeot Scooters dealerships starting next June.

Much anticipated, e.g-Vivacity is the new generation electric scooter, modern, easy to drive, practical, efficient. It is the ideal solution for those who want to see and experience the city in green.

With 0 CO emissions2, e-Vivacity offers a total absence of noise pollution and environmental. Covering 10 meters from a standing start in just 3'15", e-Vivacity is able to compete with the majority of 50 cm3 scooters thanks to an amazing start with an impressive torque of 14 Nm. Also, its very progressive transmission allows a pleasant, smooth ride and free of vibrations. 

The consumption limited to 30 Wh, e-Vivacity costs €0,4/100 km and approximately €16 per year in energy to which very low maintenance costs. Thanks to reduction in battery volume, e-Vivacity also has a 60% weight reduction compared to previous generation models. In this way, and managing to maintain a compact shape, it measures, in fact, less than 2 metres, e-Vivacity offers the same payload volume as its little brother in the thermal version, i.e. 35 litres.

Thanks to possibility of storing two helmets in its 2 compartments (one under the saddle and the other in the front shield) e carry bulky items on its flat platform, e-Vivacity's payload capacity breaks all records in the 50cm scooter category³.

La driving e-Vivacity turns out to be very easy. A small wheelbase (1368 mm) and a limited turning radius (2150 mm) make it particularly easy to handle. All this combined with reduced weight (only 115 kg) helps to put on quickly the driver at ease. The modern Color LCD dashboardi, it is very clear both day and night, a simple glance is enough to obtain the necessary information regarding the remaining autonomy of the scooter.

Finally, it is really convenient to recharge it: just connect the cord located under the saddle to a simple 220 V socket.
The choice of SAFT, world leader in high-tech batteries, constitutes a commitment to safety. The lithium ion batteries that equip e-Vivacity are guaranteed for 4 years or 40 km and can withstand up to 1000 complete or partial charge or discharge cycles, without compromising the life of the battery. In addition to the battery warranty, e-Vivacity offers a total 2-year warranty, including parts and labor.

Pioneer of the electric scooter since 1996, Peugeot has unique experience in the field of green mobility and has made spectacular technological progress in the space of 15 years. The lithium ion batteries (16 kg) that replace the Nickel-Cadmium ones offer a significantly higher performance than the 39 kg carried on Scoot'Elec, all with a longer life.

As regards performance, it is worth highlighting the doubling of power - which goes from 1,5 to 3 kW - as well as the 50% increase in autonomy - which rises from 40 to 60 km - at a stabilized speed of 45 km/ h.

The e-Vivacity technological chest has a pinch (made with three fingers) 12 V , recharge a cell phone or a player MP3. Finally, the vehicle is equipped with a reverse gear very useful for carrying out manoeuvres at reduced speed and/or in the presence of a slight difference in altitude.

E-Vivacity will be available at dealerships in the version with two magazines on board al price of €4.100,00 fc, in two colours: Pearly White and Midnight Blue.
