Momodesign e-bikes, three new models born from the partnership with Italwin

They were exhibited during the seventy-second edition of the EICMA in Milan

Momodesign e-bike – Italwin has included in the range Momodesign e-Bike three new models, one folding and two city e-Bikes with Zehus kit. All three models were designed with the support of the Momodesign Style Center.

The bike “foldable”, the pedal-assisted model by Momodesign has a high-capacity battery (48V 15Ah), full-suspension folding frame, hydraulic disc brakes, spoked wheels and is the first folding electric bicycle on the Italian market equipped with a battery with capacity for well 720Wh. It has a motor from 250W three-phase, brushless, with rear wheel sensors with an autonomy of 50 km, and can reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h and the 36V lithium battery that powers it recharges in less than 6 hours. The light alloy frame is 47 centimeters long and features a central hinge that allows it to be folded for easy transport. The design of this new momodesign e-bike model is modern and captivating thus suiting a younger audience.

The City e-bike model presents a new concept of assisted pedaling thanks to the kit Zeus, an innovative system created by a spin-off company of the Polytechnic University of Milan, capable of automatically providing assistance and recovering energy during the run, so that the battery never needs to be recharged. The system weighs just 3,2kg and is enclosed in the rear wheel.

These new models were born from the all-Italian partnership between Italwin and Momodesign, which combines the modern and distinctive design of the Milanese company with the expertise in the sector of the Padua company, and were exhibited during theEICMA 2014, the international motorcycle fair that closed yesterday in Milan and which welcomed thousands of two-wheel enthusiasts.
