Dunlop Sportmax Q-Lite it is a new product with a tread design that recalls that of the hypersport models and combines the qualities of a high mileage tire that offers support with those of a sports tyre. Functional characteristics for the agility of specimens from 125 cc o 250 cc, as indicated.

The quality characteristics

The tread design, which derives from hypersport production designs, offers a sporty vision of the product, always keeping in mind factors such as grip and handling. From a structural point of view, the rigidity of the carcass is optimized for each size and the groove shapes are created using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) simulation, to contain irregular wear and optimize mileage.

This new Dunlop tire is designed for a broad overview of specimens. The constant radius profile of the Sportmax Q-Lite promises steering sensitivity at any speed or lean angle, as indicated. A functional feature in the various sections covered.

The specimen Sportmax Q-Lite replaces the product Dunlop il TT900GP with an improvement in mileage of up to 60% compared to its predecessor, as specified. This refers to a test performed by Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd, at the Shirosato Test Center in Japan, in 2021.

Through innovations in the tread design, with an optimization of the contact area with the asphalt, even considering a rather loaded motorcycle, an improvement in grip and handling is reported.
An entirely carbon compound with high-grip resins has been developed, which offers superior grip on dry and wet surfaces thanks to the refined tread design, also recalling the construction of the carcass and the sidewall of the tyre.
