Two wheels, ANCMA: sustainability and safety among the themes of a programmatic document

The programmatic document promoted by Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle and Motorcycle Accessories) has the title: “Two wheels, already sustainable mobility”. A text to communicate the issues and priorities of the sector to institutions and stakeholders.

Among the highlighted themes is the promotion of road safety, together with interventions on the Highway Code regarding access to motorways and ring roads for 125 cc and electric motorcycles, the structural introduction of a 30% discount for motorcyclists on motorway tolls, the same request for investments for the development of cycling infrastructure and other issues. Also pay attention to the sector of two-wheel components, as well as protective clothing and helmets. Attention is also placed on quadricycles and the bicycle sector which, considering the recent period and the pandemic, is characterized by great market vitality at a time full of unknowns and opportunities linked to a new demand for sustainable mobility.
In fourteen pages the requests of the sector and the association's projects are outlined, together with an overview of a leading sector made up of high-level realities. Bearing in mind 101 years of history with 160 associated companies, ANCMA figures as a production company that in Italy has a turnover of over 8 billion euros and offers work to over 60 thousand direct and indirect operators, as reported.
