Scrambler Ducati, with its Land of Joy, returns to Wheels and Waves presenting two new products as a world premiere. The famous French event, scheduled from 14 to 18 June in Biarritz, has been chosen as the ideal stage to unveil the new Scrambler® Mach 2.0 and new graphics for the Full Throttle.

The Scrambler Mach 2.0 is characterized by low variable section aluminum handlebars, dedicated Flat Track Pro saddle, black exhaust covers and engine heads and brushed fins derived from Café Racer. This new version was created by Roland Sands, a well-known Californian designer, and is inspired by the Bell Cross Idol helmet from the 2017 Scrambler® clothing collection, recalling, with its colours, the world and atmosphere typical of the 70s West Coast.

The name of this original Scrambler® recalls a motorcycle that made Ducati and motorcycling history in the 60s. In fact, in 1965 the Mach 1 250 was born, an icon of that period, which was equipped with the same engine as the Scrambler 250 of the time. The choice of name is also inspired by the suggestion between movement and speed that the name itself evokes: Mach is in fact the measurement index of supersonic speed. In typical Scrambler style, the unveil of the Mach 2.0 was anticipated with a video, whose protagonist is a scale model, visible on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IS2fBWdQqJI) and on the page official www.scramblerducati.com.

LFull Throttle, for the occasion, has renewed graphics. The sportiest version of the Scrambler® range arrives at Wheels and Waves with a new color of the tank and front mudguard, “Shining Black”, in addition to the new side panel, which stands out for the black checkerboard drawn on a yellow band. The two new bikes arrived in Biarritz after a journey that started from Borgo Panigale last June 12th which also involved a Volkswagen California Ocean and a Volkswagen Amarok converted into a traveling radio studio. During the trip, live episodes of Radio Scrambler® were broadcast which, having arrived at Wheels and Waves, became the official radio of the French event. Until June 18th, four times a day, it will be possible to experience Wheels and Waves live, an event that every year attracts enthusiasts from all over the world to experience a weekend dedicated to two wheels and surfing.
