Ducati XDiavel S wins the 2016 Good Design Award

Ducati X Diavel S – The Ducati XDiavel confirms its leading role in the most important international design competitions. The cruiser, already winner of the 2016 Red Dot Award, was also awarded the prestigious 2016 Good Design Award.

Established in 1950, the Good Design Award is the oldest award in the world dedicated to design excellence and to companies that make it one of their fundamental values. For the 2016 edition, the jury evaluated over 900 entries from 46 countries with products covering practically every sector, from electronics to robotics, from furniture to graphics and vehicles.

Precisely in this last category, Ducati won the prestigious recognition thanks to the exclusive and original lines of the XDiavel S, a motorbike which has already become an icon of style, innovation, performance and whose development represented a real challenge for the Bolognese motorcycle manufacturer and its Style Center.

The Ducati XDiavel is a "technocruiser", futuristic in lines and technologically cutting-edge: a motorcycle that has managed to translate the Ducati DNA into a cruiser. The 2016 Good Design Award ceremony took place in New York on January 27 during the Museum's Good Design Night.
