Ducati World Premiere new Scrambler 1100 – At the event organized by the Borgo Panigale company, the Ducati World Premiere, which precedes the 2017 edition of the EICMA, many new products were presented, including the new Scrambler range.

The brand, which has been present in the Ducati catalog since 2015 and has sold more than forty-three thousand units since its launch, represents a reinterpretation of the style of the sixties and seventies, but remains faithful to the style of the Bolognese company.

Before presenting the new addition, many custom versions of the classic were presented. Particular attention is paid to the Mach 2.0, a special version, with many details that distinguish it from the others, the Desert Sled: a motorbike reminiscent of a heritage enduro, in the new black color and the Street Classic. All the details and colors are available on the Ducati.com website.

The presentation then moved on to what is in fact one of the most anticipated innovations of 2018, the Scrambler 1100. A more mature product, which combines a muscular engine with a "welcoming" chassis.

The torque curve of the air-cooled, 2-valve, two-cylinder engine is "flat", which improves drivability and in fact reduces the number of gear changes. In addition to the new engine, there are also great innovations from a safety and technological point of view: the 1100 is the first Scrambler to be fitted with cornering ABS, which allows braking when leaning, as well as many new improvements.

Furthermore, there are 2 custom versions of the 1100: the Sport and the Special.

The first, in addition to the dedicated graphics and decorations on the saddle, boasts better performance than the "standard" version and despite the not very high power, around 86 HP, promises great fun. The Special version differs from the standard version mainly due to some details, such as: the dedicated colour, finishes and chrome exhaust top.
