Ducati V4 Naked: the spotlight will turn on on June 13th [VIDEO]
A teaser appeared on Ducati's social channels, is it the new V4 Naked?
Many clues have been sown in recent months regarding the birth of a new one Ducati V4 in version Naked.
A few months ago the rumors regarding the new model were confirmed byCEO of Ducati, Claudio Domenicali. Then to the list of participants of the Pikes Peak, a race scheduled for June 30th, had appeared next to the driver's name Carlin Dunne, the name of the Ducati Naked, a generic name which however confirmed the rumours. More recently in Enna, on the Piergusa track, she was spotted during a test session. The motorbike, again according to rumours, should be launched on the market in 2020, we will most likely see it on the occasion of EICMA 2019, and it seems that it will be produced in two versions: Standard and 'preformed'. The engine should be, and here the conditional is a must, very similar to the one that equips the V4, therefore the 1100 cc, but it is still too early to be sure. However, the delivery and power will almost certainly be modified to make it more 'docile' and easier to handle and perhaps the version Naked it will be used as a basis for the launch of Euro 5 engines. We repeat that these are hypotheses that will need to be confirmed or denied.
In the meantime, however, the Bolognese company does not leave us empty-handed, in fact today the official announcement arrived via social channels with a very short video in which we can glimpse some details. Yes very little on the model. The bike that will take part in the American race will certainly be presented, given that among the frames you can see a number on the fairing. You can see the particular livery, black white and red and from an image from the rear it seems that the side fairings are 'missing'. Publicity stunt? We'll find out next June 13th.
