Ducati – The adventurous journey of the twenty-two-year-old Briton left London on April 3rd Henry Crew, who will attempt to travel 35.000 miles on a Desert Sled Scrambler, crossing 35 countries and six continents, with the aim of entering the Guinness World Record as the youngest motorcyclist to cross the world solo.

Traveler but also ambassador and of a message of solidarity, this adventure will serve to raise funds and promote the work of the Movember Foundation. After losing three friends to suicide and experiencing health problems first-hand, Henry decided to raise £35.000 (£1 for every mile) for the Foundation which supports global research and support programs in the fields of cancer prostate, testicular cancer, men's mental health and suicide prevention. The exciting motorcycling initiative of the very young Henry, which is expected to last approximately 13 months, started from Bike Shed Motorcycle Club of Shoreditch, London, Tuesday 3 April 2018. The first stop on the long journey was the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale, where he received a warm welcome from the entire company. “I've been planning the trip for eight months and I don't think there could be a better partner than Movember to support and stimulate me in this endeavor – declared Henry -. Not only have they created a large community in contact with the motorcycling world, but they also fight for the causes that are close to my heart, such as prevention and attention to the problems linked to the many suicides which, unfortunately, are a terrible plague involving many young people around the world“. Henry rides a Scrambler Desert Sled made available by Ducati UK who, after hearing the story of the young centaur and the purpose of the journey, enthusiastically agreed to take on this adventurous challenge.

The countries that will be crossed are United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Malaysia, Australia (Perth – Brisbane), Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala. To break the world record, Henry will have to return to the UK by Friday 10 May 2019, no easy feat but the courage and determination of this young Englishman will only be rewarded. It is possible to support the rider through the website and follow his journey on www.35000miles.com and on the official ScramblerDucati social channels.
