Ducati, the new 2015 range presented in the “World Première”

Ducati – She will be one of the great protagonists of the seventy-second edition of Milan International Motorcycle Show, scheduled at the Rho Fair, open to the public from the 6 9 November, and he confirmed it this evening by presenting a preview the new proposals of the 2015 range. We are of course talking about Ducati.

Within the special setting of the Elfo Puccini Theater in Milan, the Borgo Panigale company presented the Ducati 2015 World Première, a preview of what we will see next year, with a global live streaming event. Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, confirmed how the trend for the Emilian company is still positive in 2014, despite the difficulties faced by the motorcycle sector, especially since it is part of the Audi Group and thanks to a strong human resource base made up of 1400 employees working in Borgo Panigale, where 90% of the motorcycles are produced. The Ducati project for 2015 will also start from here, which will be a real turning point, particularly for its enthusiasts who will be able to choose between technologically advanced and innovative proposals in design, such as Panigale 1299 and the new Multistrada 1200, which, according to Domenicali, “moves the compromise between sportiness and performance on the one hand and smooth operation and low consumption on the other to levels never seen before”.

It was him who opened the show Ducati Scrambler, the new brand from the Borgo Panigale company, the embodiment of Ducati's three major values, style, performance and technology, which then passed the baton to the two absolute novelties intended for the public of EICMA 2014, the new 1299 Panigale, with its 1285 cm³ Superquadro engine, a maximum power of 205 HP and a record weight/power ratio compared to all the road competition, and the new Multistrada 1200, equipped with the new engine Ducati Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing), which helps to optimize engine performance at all speeds and in all conditions of use, to guarantee at the same time maximum power at high speeds, smooth delivery, vigorous torque at low speeds and low fuel consumption, the all in full compliance with the new Euro 4 regulation.

Among the other innovations of 2015, which will also be present at EICMA 2014, there will be the Diavel Titanium, offered in a limited edition of 500 pieces and characterized by more captivating shapes, exclusive finishes and a true artisan spirit, and the Monster Stripe, available in 821 and 1200 S displacements. Many also new accessories, the special parts and the new clothing collection, characterized by both technical garments and the captivating apparel and accessories collection entirely dedicated to the Scrambler world, presented in preview at the WP Store showroom in Milan with an event that saw the press, public and enthusiasts alternate in the festive and original world of “Land of Joy” Ducati Scrambler.

The two official MotoGP 2015 standard bearers were present at the Ducati 2015 World Première, Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone, ready for the trip to Valencia which, on Sunday 9 November, will conclude the competitive season MotoGP 2014 (follow our MotoGP special here). With a pole position achieved in Japan, numerous podiums achieved and a very clear shortening of the gap at the end of the race, the 2014 season was judged favorably very positive and promising for 2015, where the team led by Dall'Igna will present itself with a completely new bike, the result of the incessant work and investments made this season, in a championship, the MotoGP, which remains at the center of the strategic programs of the Borgo Panigale company.
