Ducati SuperSport, the official unveil at Intermot 2016 [TEASER VIDEO]

Ducati Super Sport – On the eve of the opening of INTERMOT 2016, scheduled in Cologne, Germany, from 5 to 9 October, Ducati anticipates some of the new features planned for 2017, confirming the presence of the new SuperSport at the fair.

After showing the SuperSport in an exclusive world preview to all Ducatisti and enthusiasts present at WDW2016, the new road sports car from the Borgo Panigale manufacturer is ready for the general public. The new SuperSport is a motorcycle designed for those who want to ride sportily on everyday roads. Fun, versatile, accessible, with the look and soul of a true Ducati sports car, the SuperSport promises exciting and fun driving sensations, while guaranteeing comfort and ease even in daily use, on any road.

INTERMOT will be the opportunity to see a world preview of other Ducati previews of the 2017 range, such as the new and elegant “Volcano Grey” color of the Multistrada 1200 S. Not only new features for the livery, but also interesting technical updates. For 2017 the Multistrada 1200 family has been equipped with a different airbox in the intake area and a new engine calibration. These changes allow the Testastretta DVT twin-cylinder to have an even fuller and more enjoyable delivery at medium speeds. TOThe other new features that Ducati presents at INTERMOT 2016 are the EURO 4 engines of the Monster 821 and Diavel. Furthermore, the Monster 821 range is enriched with the new and aggressive "Dust Grey" colour, a new and very trendy matt gray which goes perfectly with the red color of the frame and wheels.

Important update for the Ducati Superbike family, which sees the introduction of the new version of Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) called EVO on the 1299 Panigale and 1299 Panigale S models. These systems, presented for the first time on the exclusive 1299 Panigale S Anniversario, raise the performance and active safety of the Bolognese Superbike to the highest levels. The new DTC and DWC EVO are based on a new algorithm that makes interventions more precise and faster.
