Ducati SuperSport 950: production of the new sports car has started in Borgo Panigale [PHOTO]

In the factory Ducati di Borgo Panigale production has begun SuperSport 950, available in dealerships starting from February.

The specialised farming model

Taking inspiration from the Panigale range, the interface allows navigation between the different items, therefore direct identification of the chosen Riding Mode and adjustment of the settings. The standard model also features a Quick Shift Up & Down. The new clutch control is hydraulic and the lever can be managed at a distance from the handlebar. The gearbox has been modified to facilitate precise engagements and engagement of neutral when the bike is stationary, as indicated. The electronic package lists: ABS cornering, traction control, wheelie control, electronic gearbox and Riding fashion sport, Touring, Urban.
Among the highlighted aspects also the saddle with new padding and a flatter shape, furthermore the height of the semi-handlebars allows a sporty riding position without excessive load on the wrists and the footrests are arranged so as not to tire the knees, according to the directions.

Motor

The engine is of type twin cylinder, a heart Ducati Testastretta and the approval results Euro 5. The maximum power reaches 110 horses at 9.000 rpm and the torque peaks at 93 Nm at 6.500 rpm. The model is also available in a weakened version for license holders A2.
