Ducati Super Sport 939

Ducati SuperSport 939 – The Borgo Panigale company, after Cologne, presents the new SuperSport 939 at Eicma. A mixture of elegance and sportiness. We immediately notice the "classic" trellis frame with supporting engine. The whole thing seems to be covered by the fairing of its sister SuperSportiva Panigale, obviously adapted. What comes out of it? The memory of what was missing on the Ducati market for over 10 years (Ducati SS1000). A SportTourer with attention to the smallest details, as usual, which may or may not please an increasingly demanding public. The front light is taken up again, but "fattened" and we like the result because it is well suited to the type of motorbike.

The saddle is unique and, if desired, the passenger part can be covered by a "nail" shell which makes it more attractive. The exhaust system is double, compact and points upwards. This also seems to be taken from the 959 Panigale, but in our personal opinion, it appears to be more beautiful and less "invasive". Let's go back under the dress of this newcomer: 937 cc engine (despite the model name and it is the same as the HyperMotard) capable of delivering 113 hp. We find the usual three riding modes available (Urban, Touring and Sport), which can be selected from the digital dashboard even on the move. Bosch Traction Control and ABS will be standard, while on the basic version the electronic gearbox, both up and down, will be an accessory. This motorbike, in fact, will be put on the market in two different options: the "standard" and the S model. The price varies from around 13.000 euros to almost 15.000 for the white "S". The chassis will also change between the two available versions, with Marzocchi and Sachs for the first and all Ohlins for the second. The bike promises well and, we are sure, it will satisfy those customers who have been waiting for it for a long time.
