DUCATI SUPERSPORT 2017 – Ducati presents the Supersport, the road sports car designed for those who want to ride sportily on everyday roads. Fun, versatile, accessible, with the look and soul of a true Ducati sports car, the supersport makes whoever rides it feel like a rider; everyday.

The Ducati Design Center has created a dynamic, elegant, visually compact and light motorcycle, unmistakably Ducati, with strong references to the Panigale super sports bike. The Supersport is an accessible road sports car thanks to the ease of riding, the active safety offered by the Ducati Safety Pack (Bosch ABS + #ducati Traction Control) and the high value of its equipment, in relation to the price, combined with the long intervals of maintenance. Agile in the city, comfortable on the motorway and effective around the curves of out-of-town routes, the Supersport is also versatile. The comfortable riding position for rider and passenger, the aerodynamic protection ensured by the height-adjustable plexiglass and the good autonomy guaranteed by the 16-litre tank also make the new #ducati sports car a fun travel companion on medium-length journeys.

The Supersport range also includes the Supersport S version, equipped with fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Ducati Quick Shift up/down and passenger seat cover; the latter contents are also available, as accessories, for the Supersport. The Supersport is equipped with the 11 cm³ Testastretta 937° twin-cylinder engine, which delivers 113 HP at 9.000 rpm (the power value indicated was measured using a dynamometer) and a full and linear torque curve that reaches the peak of 96,7 Nm at 6.500 rpm. Thanks to the three Riding Modes (Sport, Touring and Urban), the character of the Supersport adapts to offer maximum fun in all conditions. The ability to customize each Riding Mode allows you to quickly configure the bike based on your preferences and riding ability. The Supersport chassis is the latest evolution of the Ducati trellis which uses the engine as a load-bearing element. Compact, light and rigid, it contributes to making the Supersport a bike that is quick to take turns, but always intuitive and within everyone's reach.

The particular configuration of the frame helps to keep the weight in running order at 210 kg. The main chassis dimensions, and in particular the wheelbase of 1.478 mm and the rear tire size of 180/55, contribute to making the Supersport easy to handle both in traffic and on mountain bends, guaranteeing maximum stability when cornering and at speed. As is customary for Ducati, a rich list of Ducati Performance accessories is also available for the Supersport, some included in the Sport, Touring and Urban packages which allow you to configure the motorbike based on your tastes and needs.
